Seminar Overview

This interactive seminar explores how Technical Assistance (TA) and Communication can be used more effectively in the implementation of EU-funded programmes.
With the 2021–2027 period and the mid-term review well underway, the event offers a space to revisit regulatory principles, adapt to the agility and flexibility required by the Cohesion mid‑term review, reflect on operational bottlenecks, and explore practical approaches—including accessible AI tools—to enhance delivery and impact.
Through real-life examples, facilitated exercises for all levels, and peer exchange, participants will explore how non-technical, AI-supported tools can assist in day-to-day implementation, simplify communication tasks, and improve the use of resources in TA projects.

Key Topics

  • TA and Communication in Context
Revisiting intervention logic and regulatory requirements under 2021–2027, adapting TA to the agility, flexibility, and simplification goals of the Cohesion mid‑term review

  • Everyday Efficiency
Using intuitive digital tools and AI applications to support evaluation, reporting, content creation, event planning, and more
  • Flexibility & Deployment in Focus: Understanding how simplified rules and focus on results can support faster TA delivery—and what this means for communication strategies

  • From Challenge to Practice
Lessons learned and real-world examples from Managing Authorities and beneficiaries applying smarter TA and more effective communication
  • What’s Ahead
Forward-looking insights on TA funding priorities and communication roles beyond 2027

Expected Outcomes

Participants—including those with no prior digital or AI experience—will gain practical skills and confidence in using intuitive AI tools, deepen their understanding of TA’s strategic potential, and take home fresh ideas for achieving and communicating programme results more effectively.

Interactive Elements

  • Guided discussions on common implementation challenges
  • Live demonstrations of intuitive AI tools for daily tasks
  • Peer exchange on evaluating and designing effective communication
  • A mini-workshop simulating how to reframe intervention logic and communication plans to include new priority areas (e.g. innovation, water resilience, territorial cohesion)

  • Open forums for questions, lessons learned, and new collaborations
